Extra: 3 Programs for screen video captures
To finish this article, I am going to mention three free tools to capture and record the screen of our computer. With these 3 programs, we can create our own video tutorials quickly and easily.
RecordCast
It is my favorite tool for screen capture and creation of my video tutorials, due to the simplicity of its interface and the quality of the videos. It allows you to record videos in high definition (1080p) and edit them with a built-in video editor.
They say that it has a negative aspect, and that is that the free version only allows 5 minutes of video recording, but I think they are more than enough to create good tutorials. If you need more time, then you can make another 5-minute video and thus get the audience hooked more easily, as long videos tend to be boring.
Operating System: Windows and Mac.
Screenflow
It is one of the most used programs to capture computer screens, due to its ease and quality. Highly recommended for creating video tutorials as it allows us to record the computer screen and audio, while we count the steps we are doing in a professional way.
Operating System: Mac.
Camtasia Studio
Camtasia Studio is another good tool for taking screenshots and video tutorials, and it is one of the best known. It stands out for the functionalities that it allows us, such as blur parts of the video, insert texts, create visual effects, etc.
For me, it has something negative, and that is that it is only free during the 30-day trial, then you will have to buy the tool if you want to continue using it.
Operating System: Windows and Mac.
